Loving this modern take on the rocking chair -

The only problem I really have with this Bruehl Lucky Modern Rocking Chair (@Trendir) is that I would feel awful crushing the pretty flowers whenever I felt the need to sit down.

It actually reminds me a bit of this Fendi dress from their Spring Collection 2009.

Manvi over at Mochatini has posted at 2Modern’s designtalk about this beeeeautiful blossoming chair by Kenneth Cobonpue.

Manvi writes -

This lounge chair is sculpted by hundreds of fine running stitches radiating from the center of the seat creating subtle textures. Invisible supports form shapes reminiscent of soft and graceful musical tones. The Bloom sits on top of a steel base which provides a good counterpoint to its playful organic form. Form and function at its best! With winter around the corner, I would totally love to cozy up in it. Love the color too!

Now, whilst I think it’s a beautiful piece of furniture that I would adore to have in my house, given my penchant for flowers and considerable lack of gardening expertise, it also looks like it could potentially swallow its occupant whole.

Whilst perhaps a bit impractical, I do adore these suede petaly creations by Moroso.

Give me a flowery chair over a bunch of roses any day of the week!
