Elizabeth we should be applauding you! You have done such an amazing job. Dealing with 7 different bloggers all sending you constant emails is no easy feat. You have done is so well and always been so nice, even though sometimes i'm sure you just wanted to let loose on email.

Her name is Anna Gare – she's been on lots of Foxtel cooking shows! I don't particularly like her that much, but probably good with kids!

Yep Elizabeth, I am with you. Loved Masterchef and can't wait for the kids version. I am not sure who the new lady is but will be an interesting added dynamic!

I think you are, without a doubt, a writer… i find your writing entertaining, interesting and thought provoking and, at the risk of sounding like a complete suck up, that is what keeps me coming back to your blog. saying that, i completely understand where you are coming from with this post….writing is such a personal thing and publishing it on any platform is scary as it really puts you "out there". People get to witness a little piece of you. i think i have mentioned before that coming to the end of my degree was terrifying as well as exciting so you are not alone there either! as for editing, i struggle to even post comments without a hundred re-reads…but this time i will just hit send, despite the 7 month old squirming on my lap as i write and the fact i BADLY want to do a quick edit….here goes!

Awesome post Elizabeth! Thank you! I am so excited about Magnation! And it seems i can not stop ending my sentences with exclamation marks in this comment! (They are all happy, excited ones not angry ones by the way!) And coffee at Brunetti's sounds a go-er. Now, I just need to find a babysitter…

Oh I feel exactly the same. Thank you for writing this post. I constantly wonder about what I'm going to do after my course finishes. I have no ideas or plans or money… And although the one thing I do consistently is write, I seldom finish things that I am proud of (and there's no time when uni's on anyway!) and ugh it's just so HARD! Perhaps if I spent less time wondering and complaining then I would have something to show for myself.. But don't worry, you're not alone!!

I reckon you are a writer,
You write great stuff.
You have a terrific way with words. Your content is interesting. You not only have a future as a writer, you are a writer NOW. Accept it!

Throw out the self doubt and just hit publish more often. Not every piece has to be perfect, not every word crafted to within an inch of it's life. Just "publish and be damned". Blogging is a hard game, writing is a hard game. Accept it and enjoy it. (have you done an update and clean up of your site? looks great!)
